Healthy Alternative: Simple Salad Dressing

Store bought dressings are a lot of the time just loaded with sugar, making your ‘healthy’ salad pretty unhealthy. Before you buy pre packaged salad dressing, take a look at the sugar content. Then multiply that with how many servings you actually use and you’ll be surprised at the amount of sugar you’re actually adding. The extra sugar rush will make sure you have cravings again in a few hours – thus giving up on the whole ‘salad all day every day’ diet. Try this simple salad dressing and never buy store bought again!


*Tip: I would never recommend eating salad of only vegetables with leafy greens for days. By adding proteins like chicken, tofu or turkey and some healthy fats like the dressing below, a little feta cheese or some roasted pumpkin seeds, you’ll have an actual meal that will keep you full for longer and keep cravings down!
