Thank you so much for visiting. My name is Chelsey and I’m a Nutritionista/Foodie who’s crazy in love with all things health, nutrition, fitness and wellness and I hope I can inspire you to be as well.
My journey with health began in high school, where I dealt with a lot of body image pressure that eventually led to unhealthy eating habits and an unhealthier digestive system. I couldn’t understand why I couldn’t get the same body I would see all over the media as ‘ideal’ and ‘beautiful’. I was always looking for a quick way to look as fit and thin as possible, but no matter what I tried my hunger, lust for food, social anxieties, unhealthy exercising and health issues would get the best of me.
I decided I never wanted to feel hungry or angry about my body again but rather learn about how different foods and exercise affect how our bodies function and, of course, store fat. As a foodie who is obsessed with trying foods and dishes from all different cultures, I decided to enroll myself to become a Nutritionist so I wouldn’t have to deal with not eating what I wanted because the media tells you to be always be on a low-carb, low-fat ‘diet’. That wasn’t going to work for me and it won’t work for you. We are all unique and there will never be a one-size-fits-all option when it comes to our bodies. Nor should there be! This took time for me to realize, as I have will never have a slender body composition (thanks dad), but I am now able to not only embrace what I do have but have finally lost the excess fat to feel the best I have ever felt.
I am currently enrolled with the Alive Academy for a diploma in Nutritional Consulting so I can help others who struggled with what I went through (don’t pretend you don’t know what I’m talking about) to stop ‘dieting’ and understand that marketing and the media are also to blame so you can stop feeling angry/ashamed and start feeling your best! I have read countless articles, books, and blogs about health and fitness as well as attended various seminars and courses focused on healthy and lasting fat loss. I can promise you that the way to looking YOUR BEST is through nutrition and fitness that suits your individual needs.
Eventually, My Best Fit Plan will be offering consultation, counseling, online courses, advice and even just phone calls/emails to answer any questions you have. I understand all the confusion about fat loss and hope to end it here.
My Best Fit Plan will be based on the healthy way of determining appropriate and effective calories in (proper nutrition and food) and calories out (effective fitness, exercise and physical activity) so you never have to worry about dieting or putting on the pounds again. My Best Fit Plan is also a support system to help you every step of the way with any questions or concerns you may have.
